Hello!

I’m Jocelyn, the founder of Counting Clouds Sleep. I support families who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure how to improve their child’s sleep in a way that feels right for them. Sleep can feel confusing and emotionally loaded, especially when advice is conflicting or sparse. My role is to bring clarity, reassurance and personalised guidance, so you don’t have to navigate it alone.

My background and training:

I hold a degree in Psychology and have completed specialist training in infant and child sleep at OCN Level 6, which is equivalent to first‑year undergraduate study and far beyond the short courses common in the industry. I continue to build on this foundation through ongoing professional development, regularly attending events with the British Sleep Society and the Royal Society of Medicine, and grounding my work in evidence‑led practice.

Why I do this work:

After graduating in psychology, I built a career in international merchandising, but over time I felt a strong pull back to psychology, especially the study of sleep and how deeply it shapes our emotions, relationships and overall wellbeing. That pull, combined with wanting work that creates real, lasting impact for families, led me to retrain in infant and child sleep.

What it’s like to work together:

When we work together, you can expect:

  • Clear, practical guidance without overwhelm

  • Space to ask questions and voice concerns

  • Support that adapts as your child grows and changes

  • Reassurance that you are doing your best

The Counting Clouds Sleep Approach

There is no one “correct” way to support a child’s sleep. Every family, child and situation is different.

I do not use cry-it-out methods or expect families to ignore their instincts. Instead, we work together to build sustainable sleep habits in a way that feels manageable, respectful and realistic for your family.
